Goodbye May and HELLO June!
I am so excited that it is now June! I never thought it would get here. 6 months down and.....who knows how long left. I'm hoping only another 6 months but of course it is never EVER set in stone. With my A type personality i think that aspect of deployment and military life is the hardest for me. Never knowing when something will happen or when it will come to an end. Today we celebrated 6 months of survival with out daddy by having a pillow fight. Pillow fights are special in this house, it is a son and daddy experience while mommy watches and giggles. Lavio told me he misses that the most about his dad, the pillow fights that they would have. Hopefully in another 6 months or so we will be having lots of pillow fights in this house.

You're such a tough cookie...I am so thankful we meet at the going away ceremony for the unit, you have helped me cope through this deployment...however that being said you have it much harder because your having to be both mommy and daddy...I really do admire your strength!! Love Ya Girl!! 6 down and hopefully only 6 more to go!!!
